I live in the bay area and it is a sea of iPhones.  I’ve come to realize that people are so attached to them that they pass out with these things laying on their chest let alone never leave home without it.  If it’s lost, it’s as if one is experiencing phantom limb problems.  The hand reaches out to find air, no phone, and as it’s as if the soul has been torn out. 

Thus, if you’re a in a pinch and seeking to find one of the only things capable of rendering a grown, upwardly mobile business executive into a puddle of terror, it would be to snatch away his iPhone.   All previously stored contacts – gone.  Coupon apps-gone.  All previous map history perilously close to being deleted.

We are entrenched in such a dilemma as a country– we need to be spending money to recover not just our own economy, but others around the world that own much of our debt, yet with unemployment rates climbing towards 10% Americans are reverting to saving more spending less.

Really, we need to start producing something (other than continuing to print devaluing money).

Also, does anyone else think he looks a bit like W?
